Talking Teens
Navigating your child’s teenage years can be challenging for any parent/carer and there are services in Barnsley that can support you. Talking Teens is a 4-week group programme for parents/carers of 11-18 year old young people that helps parents deal with the challenges that raising teenagers can bring. Topics include understanding what role they play in their teenager’s life, how to improve communication and how to manage conflict with their teenager. Parents can book direct through the Virtual Family Hub. Please see the following link: https://www.barnsley.gov.uk/media/20660/family-centres-parent-carer-education-programme-request.pdf
