WHY I BECAME A GOVERNOR AT THE ASTREA DEARNE:

I have worked with the school over a number of years and been delighted in its progress. I am thrilled to serve as the Chair to help things get even better.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE I BRING:

I used to work for Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council as a Senior Manager in the School Improvement Team. I understand how schools operate and I work with the school to make things better.

MY HOPES FOR THE ASTREA DEARNE ARE:

that it continues to improve the life chances of its students and serves as a beacon in the community.
