Associate Principal’s Message
Dear Families,
One of the greatest joys of my role is connecting with you—the parents and carers of the wonderful young people in our care. Whether you’re sharing feedback about school events, asking questions about how things work, or simply stopping by for a chat, I truly value every opportunity to hear your perspectives and work together to give our scholars the very best.
With that in mind, we’d love to see you at our ‘Let’s Thrive Together’ drop-in this Wednesday in the Front Room, from 4:00pm to 4:30pm. A number of school leaders, including myself, will be there to answer questions, discuss ideas, or just say hello.
If you can join us, please do—the kettle will be on and the welcome will be warm!
As always, I hope you have a fantastic weekend.
Kind regards,
Mr Arezoo
Associate Principal

Youth Work in Schools
Our Youth Work in Schools team have been working with scholars since September and are really keen to gain some parent feedback. The team run regular lunchtime drop in sessions which include Let’s Talk Tuesdays and Fun Fridays. They offer after school enrichment sessions which have included Christmas Crafts and BCalm Club. If your child is interested in any of these activities please encourage them to speak to a member of the Youth Work in Schools team on the street. The team are planning on offering more enrichment in the next term and would love to hear your thoughts and ideas.

Behind the Camo is a four-part virtual event series that gives a real, honest look at life in the British Army. Each episode features serving soldiers answering questions people don’t usually ask – covering different topics like career options, daily life, and common myths. It’s a great opportunity to hear personal stories, explore the wide range of roles available, and see how Army life can be more supportive and rewarding than you might expect. Get insider knowledge, hear directly from those living Army life, and have your unanswered questions tackled.
In Episode 2, we dive into the career opportunities and qualifications available in the Army, showing how you can shape your own path, gain new skills, and even earn a degree while you serve.
