Associate Principal’s Message
Dear families,
It was a real pleasure to welcome so many young people, along with their parents and carers, to our Open Evening on Wednesday. The enthusiasm and engagement from families was truly inspiring, and I’d like to thank everyone who took the time to speak with me and other members of staff about the exciting journey our school is on—and how their child can thrive with us.
We believe it’s incredibly important that parents and carers feel confident asking questions and learning more about school life and how we support every child’s success. That’s why we offer several ways to stay connected: our WhatsApp channel, our X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram pages, our email at info@astreadearne.org, and of course, this newsletter. These platforms are here so you can share questions, concerns, and suggestions—because when we work together, all of our young people benefit.
As I said to our Year 6 families this week: there’s no such thing as a daft question when it comes to your child’s education—so please, ask away!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Kind regards
Mr Arezoo
Associate Principal

Blaze Runner
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue has launched Blaze Runner, a fast-paced online game that helps you think about how to escape safely in a house fire.
As you race through the maze, you’ll collect items like a phone and keys – just like you would in a real emergency. If you score high, you could win prizes including Tramlines Festival tickets, a Gulliver’s Valley family pass, a Yorkshire Wildlife Park visit for six, or a £150 shopping voucher.
After playing, you’ll be invited to download a free template and make your own fire escape plan with your family to keep you safe in your home.
