Year 6 Transition 2025!
Hello and welcome to Astrea Academy Dearne. We are so excited to welcome the parents and carers of current Year 6 scholars who will be joining us in September 2025.
Transitioning from primary to secondary school is an exciting time for our new scholars, however, it can be daunting. We work closely alongside our feeder primary schools to ensure scholars are well prepared, supported and complete their transition days feeling positive and enthusiastic about starting secondary school in September.
We are very excited to announce the transition days this year are taking place on Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th July 2025. On these days your child will meet their Form Tutor, be given a tour of the school, experience taster lessons and take part in many more exciting activities to prepare them for starting Astrea Academy Dearne.
